Kathleen Booth impacted computer science by creating a symbolic langage to simplify the process of programming the machine. This is now recognized as the world's first assembly language. Assembly langage is a low-level programming language that translates human-readable instructions into the ones and zeros understood by computers.

Karlheinz Brandenbrug was born on June 20th, he is a german electrical engineer and mathematician. He developed the widespread MP3 method for audio data compression. He is also known for his elementary work in the field of audio coding, the perception measurement, the wave field synthesis and psychoacoustics.
